Call me Aster!
I'm a big ol bear (animal) and a bit of a bear (gay). He/him asexual genderqueer, 21, USA, in a relationship. I love musicals and obscure movies and I like to pretend I'm a gamer. I'm purposefully keeping this site separate from my other online profiles, so if you know me irl no you don't.
The whole vibe of this site is inspired by art I've done for NES ROMHacking (though that would only use four colors and I use 5...) and other old computer games. The colors are based loosely on Greek pottery, though I added the purple for some more mid-tones. It does mean Aster's colors are a little off, in real life his muzzle is grey and his ears are pink!
I first started learning how to code as a kid! My parents really wanted me to get into it for some reason, I was in LEGO robotics, went to workshops at the science museum, even had Scratch on the family computer. I had fun but never really saw the appeal past messing around. Until today! I picked up html March 2023 to teach myself how to make a new portfolio website for my theater work. After a few months I was getting tired of working on it so I decided to start a side site as a fun personal project and a way to practise coding. That's this one! I'm so tired of social media and being another product for big corporations to profit off of my existence, so no one will profit but I still get to smile when I see someone like what I do :)
I keep this site pretty PG13, I'll put a warning on anything if it does come up.
