Pets

The little creatures in my life. Most of these were technically my parent's pets but same deal.

Virginia

The first pet I can remember. A true loyal trustworthy man's best friend sort of flat-coat retriever mix, a stray our neighbors found. Fond memories of hiking through the woods.

Cuddles

A stray turned barn cat turned house cat, I think she always resented it. Once dragged a bloody squirrel into my room and started eating it under my desk. Kind of hated me.

Captain Jack

A very solitary cat, liked to cackle at the birds and chew on plastic. Very good with punctuation.

Courage

- the cowardly dog. Newfoundland and retriever mix. Lived up to his name! A sweeetheart.

Rabbits

Ajax and Euripedes. Ajax was a 4-H rabbit, a lop. Euripedes, grey fox, was a surrender.

Rats

Twitchtip and Perdita.

Kahlua

Silly cattle dog mix, he was found in Hawaii and flown over to find a home! His name means pig :]

Myra

Cardigan welsh corgi - blue merle. She is in charge, keeping track of all movements in the house, a little obsessive-compulsive. The spot on her head is called a fairy kiss.

Meatloaf

Cardigan welsh corgi - blue merle. The most perfect little prince you have ever met. His coat is always pristine and soft, he doesn't walk he prances, but he's a very attentive friend.

Smalls

A surrender from a family friend who couldn't take care of him, we got him when he was already an ancient old man and gave him the best last few years of his life. He knew how to hit button for food, water, and to go outside. Likes little outfits I would make for him, didn't really like me. Seven teeth.

Cookie

An ex's ferret. I did love the little noodle. He liked to sort his toys.

Merlin

Cardigan and Pembroke corgi mix. A silly goofy guy you cannot take seriously, forever the baby of the pack always begging for attention.

Liam

We're pet-sitting this lad for a friend. He has very strong opinions and a resting bitch face - but we love him.
